Online Registration

The following information is for applying for grades Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 8th grade. If you want to apply for Preschool, please visit our Child Development page.

The Rosemead School District utilizes PowerSchool's online student enrollment system. The system is a secured and streamlined process which allows the District to verify all student demographics, emergency and medical information. The system will also allow families to electronically sign permission forms. In short, this online process replaces many of the hard copy student enrollment and permission forms that students bring home on the first day of school.

The Rosemead School District will once again offer a full-day Transitional Kindergarten (TK) for RSD residents for the 2026-2027 school year. Your child must be born between September 2, 2021, and September 1, 2022, to be eligible. Due to limited space, we cannot make exceptions for admitting students who are born after September 1, 2022, and we cannot guarantee the program at your school of residence.

Please select Online Registration (for NEW STUDENTS) or Online Registration (for RETURNING STUDENTS).

The registration portal will open and parents can pick up instructions and sign up online for their home school (school of residence) beginning Tuesday, February 10, 2026.

- Tuesday, February 10, 2026 - Janson Elementary School
- Wednesday, February 11, 2026 - Shuey Elementary School 
- Thursday, February 12, 2026 - Encinita Elementary School
- Friday, February 13, 2026 - Savannah Elementary School
