Good evening, Encinita Leaders!

 

This is your principal, Dr. Chang, with your Sunday Night Blast for the week of June 3, 2019.

 

Thank you families for joining us for Open House, Lunch on the Lawn, and supporting our fall Book Fair last week. Your partnership is extremely impactful toward the success of our school. Please consider participating in PTA meetings and sharing your thoughts on how we can work together to strengthen our school.

 

With 2 more weeks of school left, we have some fun activities planned for our kids this week like pool parties, pizza parties, dance parties and field trips. You won’t want to be absent.

 

Monday, June 3: HS Seniors and 6th grade Meet and Greet

Encinita is partnering up with Rosemead High School. RHS seniors are joining us this Monday, June 3rd at 1 pm to inspire our 6th grade students and share how bright their future is.

 

Tuesday, June 4: DAC/ELAC Meeting

Please join us from 9-11 am at our District Board Room for our Title 1 District Advisory Council/ District English Language Advisory Council Meeting. Your child will receive 5 Golden Tickets for your attendance.

 

Tuesday, June 4: 4th Grade Field Trip

This Tuesday, 4th graders are going to Columbia Memorial Space Center.

 

Wednesday, June 5: 6th Grade Picnic

Our 6th grade picnic is this Wednesday at Rosemead Park.

 

Wednesday, June 5: 1st and 2nd grade pool party

Our 1st and 2nd grade pool party is this Wednesday. Students must have signed waivers to participate.

 

Thursday, June 6: Math Masters Award Ceremony

Please join us for our Math Masters Award Ceremony this Thursday, June 6 from 8:15 am to 12:15 pm.

 

Thursday, June 6: DJ Dance Party

At 1pm, we are rewarding students for positive behavior with a DJ Dance Party. Tickets for the dance party cost 25 Golden Tickets.

 

Thursday, June 6: Pizza Party for Jog-a-thon

Students who fundraised $50 or more for Jog-a-thon will receive a pizza party at Rosemead Park during lunch time.

 

Friday, June 7: No School

There is no school this Friday as it is a pupil free day for our Staff Development and learning.
