Principal's Message - 2019-20

Dear Janson School Families,

 

As previously shared, there will be no school for all students from Monday, March 16, 2020, through Friday, March 27, 2020. We want to emphasize that there are no reported cases of COVID-19 in our district community. This is in response to guidance from our County Office of Education as a means to reduce the spread of COVID-19. To help students continue their learning during this time, students will have access to online instruction and/or work packets. Online resources are available on our school’s website under the link, Online Student Work. If your child needs a device, please complete the attached Chromebook Request Form provided and bring it to the School. Additional forms are available in the school office. Additionally, parents should pick up textbooks and/or work packets from 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17 from the school site.

 

We will also continue to provide meals for all children ages 18 and under from 9:00 am-1:00 p.m. at Encinita, Muscatel, and Savannah School starting Monday, March 16.

 

Children receiving a meal must be present. During this time, our school and district offices will remain open and staff will be available via email or phone to answer any questions you may have.

 

As we move forward, we will keep you updated regarding the status of the school and the potential extension of school dismissal.
