The Savannah Principal’s STAR Reader 🐬:
Principal's Star Reader is a 1st grade - 3rd grade program that encourages recreational reading and helps to foster a love for reading. All 1st - 3rd grade students are assigned reading as part of their nightly/weekly homework routine, and to help motivate students to read (possibly read more than the minimum number of minutes assigned at their grade level), students can earn incentives/prizes that are based on the number of minutes logged on their reading logs.
