    Stakeholder Input Needed...

    The Board of Trustees seeks staff and community input in its search for the new superintendent. This survey is designed to gather your perceptions of the district's state and the experiences and characteristics you believe the incoming superintendent should possess. 

    The COSCA Group search team is conducting the survey to assist the Board in this important endeavor. All individual responses will remain anonymous.

    The Search Process Calendar of Events...

    The Board of Trustees has engaged in the following steps for this process: 

    1. June 27, 2024 - The Board of Trustees announces their appointment of the Interim Superintendent - English -  Español - tiếng Việt - 中文

    2. June 27, 2024 - The Board of Trustees received search proposals and gave direction to staff.

    3. July 11, 2024 - The Board of Trustees approved the contract with The COSCA Group, provided input for the district profile brochure, established a timeline, and selected the focus groups for stakeholder input.

    4. August 13 - 28, 2024 - The COSCA Group will gather input from all stakeholders who elect to submit their input via an online anonymous survey.

    5. August 13, 2024 - The COSCA Group starts meeting with stakeholder groups in person.

    6. August 26, 27, and 28, 2024 - The COSCA Group meets with additional stakeholder groups, including two parent/community sessions.

      • Parent Input Session - Monday, August 26, 2024, 7:00-8:00 pm, Mildred B. Janson Elementary School, MPR, 8628 Marshall St., Rosemead, CA 91770

      • Parent Input Session - Wednesday, August 28, 2024, 7:00-8:00 pm, Encinita Elementary School, MPR/Cafeteria, 4515 Encinita Ave., Rosemead, CA 91770

    7. September 3, 2024 - The Board of Trustees finalized the District's profile for the application packet.

    8. September 4, 2024 - The application process opens.

    9. October 4, 2024 - Last day to submit application packet by 5:00 p.m. PST.
