    2024 BOARD OF TRUSTEES' MEETING SCHEDULE

    REGULAR MEETINGS:
    1st Thursday of month with some exceptions as noted on the published agendas:
    Opening Procedures:  6:30 p.m.
    Closed Session:  6:30 p.m.
    Public/Open Session:  7:30 p.m.
    Reconvene Closed Session after the completion of open session agenda items, 
    if it is necessary to complete the closed session agenda.

    REGULAR STUDY SESSION MEETINGS:
    3rd Thursday of the month with some exceptions as noted on the published agendas:
    Public/Open Session: 6:30 p.m.
    Closed Session: following the completion of open session items

MINUTES

  • 2024 Board of Trustees meeting calendar is subject to change. Special Meetings may be scheduled at any
    time following The Brown Act posting requirements. Visit www.rosemead.k12.ca.us to view each agenda,
    for date and location updates, or contact (626) 312-2900 x212 or email cbracamonte@rosemead.k12.ca.us.

    *Exceptions include, not limited to:

    • January 2024 – scheduled the 3rd Thursday only to avoid Winter Break.
    • April 2024 –  scheduled the 3rd Thursday due to Spring Break.
    • June 2024 – scheduled the 4th & 5th Thursdays due to Public Hearing and Budget Adoption.
    • July 2024 – no meetings scheduled; special meetings will be scheduled as needed.
    • August 2024 - scheduled the 1st & 2nd Thursday to accommodate the start of the school year hiring needs.
    • December 2024 – Annual Organizational meeting with the administration of the Oath of Office after the 2nd Friday as per Education Code 35143 and Interim Report is due by the 15th to the County.
