The Universal Benefit Application (UBA) is a simple form that helps families access valuable resources beyond school meals. By completing the UBA, your household may qualify for additional benefits such as discounted internet service, school transportation support, fee waivers for academic programs, and more. Submitting the application will not affect your child’s eligibility for free school meals, as all students continue to receive meals at no cost through California’s Universal Meals Program. In addition, qualifying families may also receive SUN Bucks (Summer EBT)—extra grocery benefits provided during the summer months to help ensure children have access to healthy food when school is out. We encourage every family to complete the UBA to maximize the support available to our students and community.
